We are a group of international students just like you! That’s why we know about the problems and wishes of international students at the university.
There’s a lot of things that can be improved! And that’s what we want to do! If you elect our group all 38 of us will fight for your interests:
We want:
- to stop the tuition fees (with demonstrations and strikes)!
-to improve and build up constant, independent legal advising, available from several lawyers (alien- and migration laws)
- to keep up opening hours of the AStA- and ASV-offices at all times
- to offer more help for those who want to do postgraduate studies or a doctorate, greater time allowance for international students during exams!
- more transparency of the ASV financial situation (e.g. no more private calls at the expense of international students!)
- more support for peaceful cultural organizations and events to prevent prejudices and racist ressentiments, to promote tolerance and peaceful living.
- to improve the contact with the International Center Die Bruecke, Auslaenderbeirat, Akademisches Auslandsamt, Studienkolleg und Fachschaften/StuPa (we also want a new AStA!)
- better health- insurance- and financial advising, to help international students find an apartment, a job or an internship!
- a ASV-summer party for all, not just certain groups! More openness!
- a data and service point for free translation services in your mother tongue!
